Just For Fun
Yep, I like to have fun, just like the rest of you. These are some of the things that I do to amuse myself in those rare moments when I'm bored.
Origami
If you've been in my class, you've probably seen me make a little square bowl from a sheet of notebook paper.
If you didn't catch it from my hasty demonstration, you can get the original instructions here. (Hint: if you are having problems with this one, remember that a square piece of paper absolutely will not work.)

This one cheats a bit by cutting the paper. (This really isn't origami, by the way, but I can't remember what the name of this particular paper art is called. I like this site because it's a good way to use up all those greeting cards you can never seem to part with.)
Palindromes
A palindrome is a word, phrase, or sentence that is spelled the same backward as it is forward. Sometimes these make sense, and sometimes they are just silly. But they are often amusing.
